This brand-new HR and L&D Consultant (known internally as HR Consultant) will own and oversee our proposition, ensuring we’re firmly future-focused and meeting the needs of the business. In this role, you'll support Strategic HR Business Partners and HR Business Partners across all business areas, with the planning and execution of various HR projects and initiatives, such as talent management, engagement, learning needs analysis, and organisational development. You’ll work closely with the business to deliver tailored HR advice, providing insights and analysis that drive impactful change. You will support the business through change management activities, aligning with the People Change Framework to ensure consistency, and you’ll support regular HR processes like pay reviews, talent forums, and performance assessments. Additionally, you'll provide Learning & Development consultancy services, conducting assessments to identify skill gaps and opportunities for growth. With a focus on continuous improvement and process excellence, you'll play a key role in reviewing and determining our approaches to undertaking HR activities to ensure they are highly effective. You will also get involved in tracking project progress, reporting on KPIs, and ensuring that HR initiatives align with the company’s overall goals. About you

You’re a well-rounded HR professional with a background across various HR disciplines able to manage multiple priorities. Possessing excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to deliver effective outcomes through a consultative approach, you’re commercially minded and understand business operations and financial principles, ensuring HR strategies are aligned with business goals. In addition, you must also demonstrate: Knowledge of project management principles and experience in supporting HR projects. Ability to effectively interpret and analyse data. Experience with HR compliance and processes in areas including reward, engagement, learning and development, and talent management. Understanding and application of learning needs analysis. Understanding and application of organisation design and development. Ability to identify and resolve problems.
