We are looking for a HR Assistant / HR Officer who wants to develop their experience and knowledge to support our growing team and client base. This is an exciting opportunity to not only expand and develop your current knowledge, but a real opportunity to broaden your experience across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will be dealing with contracts of employment, policies, holiday calculations, recruitment and HR queries and will have the opportunity to work on complex employment cases including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, restructures and TUPE amongst other projects as their skills and experience develops. This is a full-time, permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. This role will be office based initially, with up to two days from home after successful completion of your probationary period. HR Assistant / HR Officer Main Duties:

Advising clients within realms of own experience. Answering incoming calls, providing basic advice where possible or taking details and providing accurate messages to the team in a timely manner. Day to day office administration and administration services for our clients. Supporting recruitment campaigns for clients, including drafting job adverts, shortlisting candidates and arranging interviews. Drafting HR letters as advised by the team. Uploading advice and documents to the CRM system. Liaising with third party providers e.g. occupational health, DBS, Breathe HR. Note taking during meetings and note typing of meetings and recordings. Personalising contracts of employment for clients. Creation and updating of employee handbooks for clients. Contacting clients asking for updates on current open cases. Calculating holiday entitlements for clients. Supporting with complex cases to develop skills and experience. HR Assistant / HR Officer Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally 12-18 months previous experience as a HR Apprentice or HR Assistant. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, especially on the phone. Computer literate with strong IT skills. Prioritising workload effectively. Proactive approach, asking for work. Team player.
