What you'll do: As an HR Associate at Legal and General, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Employee Relations team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide focused support and advice linked to our people policies and procedures. You will generate an understanding of customer queries, escalating more complex Employee Relations matters as relevant. Your ability to organise and prioritise work will ensure service level agreements are met with high-quality standards. Furthermore, you will participate in relevant Employee Relations’ continuous improvement/development initiatives. Provide expert advice in support of people policies and maintain accurate records in the MyHR system. Use Employee Relations’ case insight to develop team processes. Ensure service level agreements are achieved to high quality standards. Identify and escalate any root cause analyses required. Encourage the development of key stakeholder capability through clear explanation, feedback and coaching. Participate in relevant Employee Relations’ continuous improvement/ development initiatives. What you bring: The ideal candidate for the HR Associate role at Legal and General will bring a wealth of knowledge in employment legislation, HR policies and procedures. Your excellent organisational skills coupled with your attention to detail will enable you to manage high-volume generalist HR matters effectively. Your strong communication skills will allow you to clearly explain HR processes, procedures, and risks. Experience dealing with customer queries via phone, email, and internal systems is essential. CIPD Level 3 or equivalent demonstrable experience is preferred. A sound understanding of employment legislation, HR policies and procedures. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, managers, and HR colleagues. Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain HR process, procedure, and risk. Experience of dealing with high-volume generalist HR matters or customer queries via phone, email and internal systems.
