HR Business Partner £37.39p per hour PAYE £47.27p per hour UMBRELLA Full Time 6 Month Contract Initially Bristol 2 days a week onsite Our Local Authority Client is looking for a HR Business Partner to join their busy team on an contractual basis. Key Job Outcomes: Build strong professional working relationships with clients, colleagues, trade unions and staff-led groups. Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, helping senior leaders make informed decisions and promote best practice in people management. Support the implementation of change management, using data and research to inform strategic direction. Engage with leaders to drive equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) efforts, working to create an inclusive workforce. Support and challenge in leadership discussions, sometimes in face of significant resistance, to improve decision-making. Coach and influence senior leaders to consider the ethical impact of their decisions, taking a visible lead in solving employee relations and ethical dilemmas. Skills and Attributes: Experience working within a Local Authority

- ESSENTIAL Experience of Trade Union Negotiations in a Local Authority/Public Sector Environment

- ESSENTIAL Possession of Chartered MCIPD status or equivalent qualifications. Extensive senior-level experience in HR and Organizational Development within a heavily unionized setting, including significant expertise in consulting and negotiating modifications to employment terms and conditions. The capacity to swiftly establish robust working relationships across all levels is essential. Familiarity with both the Green and Red Books is required. A proactive and strategic approach, with the foresight to identify and address potential challenges. Exceptional leadership abilities to motivate and nurture your team while ensuring performance and accountability are maintained. A comprehensive understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), along with a proven history of promoting inclusivity within organizations.
