As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with the Head of HR to provide a proactive HR service to the business, delivering value-added, strategically aligned support to the team in the development and delivery of the people strategies to support the business goals of the operations and the wider organisation.
Key Duties:
- Provide a wide-ranging HR Business Partnering service, ensuring that all managers have the necessary tools and capability to professionally manage themselves and their employees.
- Responsible for the whole recruitment and onboarding journey for new and prospective employees
- Instil a Performance Management culture.
- Management of HR projects and change within the business
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion as part of the culture of the organisation.
- Be the subject matter expert in employee relations matters, advising on employee relations matters to ensure consistency, legal compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Assist with the design and delivery of management development training and HR-related workshops.
- To work with the Head of HR to develop and deliver plans for recruitment, training, restructuring and succession planning
- Ensure apprentices and volunteers are engaged and feel a sense of connection with the work of Mytime Active.
- Provide the Head of HR with KPI Reports including; monthly absence, turnover and employee relations case data.
- To use key people analytics to inform decisions and make recommendations to stakeholders.
- Line manager to HR Administrator(s).
Experience & Knowledge:
- Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) Level 5 or equivalent
- Extensive HR generalist experience across the range of HR functions in the employee lifecycle.
- Experience in managing organisational change (including TUPE) & in managing complex and challenging employee relations issues
- Experience in delivering learning and development sessions on HR technical matters and in leading through change and transformation
Skills & Abilities:
High-quality communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Highly organised with good planning & project management skills
Analytical and goal-oriented
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
Excellent prioritisation skills and can juggle multiple workstreams efficiently and with confidence.
