The Role The University has an exciting opportunity to join their committed People & Culture team.

This is a great time to join the University where significant investment and transformation change is taking place. You will be joining them as they implement their People & Culture strategy and support wider initiatives driving their engagement and wellbeing agenda.

Their People and Culture team is key to the successful development and implementation of people work streams and builds on the team's achievements over an extensive period.

They offer flexibility to the ideal candidate, providing a role which can be either a People and Culture Manager role or an HRBP level role. Those interested in the Manager role will have an opportunity to build on their leadership and management skills and demonstrate impact in a private or public sector environment. Alternatively, the HRBP - Engagement role is available for those passionate about delivering projects and initiatives focused on engagement and wellbeing, supporting their colleagues to thrive.

If you are interested in bringing your experience, knowledge, and positive approach to an ambitious university that changes lives, they are keen to hear from you. More details are contained in the job description. They still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.

They offer hybrid working arrangements (minimum 3 days on campus either in Carlisle or Lancaster, with potential for working from their Barrow campus in the future) that can be supported for this role in line with business needs.

This role is available on either a fixed-term or permanent basis.

Benefits * Competitive salary * 35 days holiday plus bank holidays * An excellent pension scheme with 8% employer contribution
