As our HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic partner to our Air and Sea Logistics business units, playing a critical role in aligning our HR strategies with Business Unit goals. In this pivotal role, you’ll act as a trusted partner to stakeholders to help shape strategic initiatives, drive organizational effectiveness, and enhance employee engagement. Supporting our Head of HR for Air and Sea, and working alongside a team of HR Business Partners, this role will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative strategies as well as providing expert HR guidance to ensure effective implementation of HR policies and initiatives across the Business Units. Your Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders by delivering comprehensive HR Business Partner services, empowering line managers with the tools and capabilities they need to lead with excellence and effectively manage their teams. Drive impactful initiatives and foster a culture of excellence and engagement by advising the business on change management, employee relations, organizational design, employee engagement, and talent management. Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development) to implement impactful people strategies. Be the go-to partner for your areas of responsibility through every stage of the employee lifecycle and drive meaningful change by spearheading strategic initiatives in key areas of retention, engagement, and performance. Leverage data and analyze reports and KPIs to support business decisions, using data to identify trends and recommend appropriate actions. Collaborate with local and global HR teams to ensure our HR practices are consistent and aligned, ensuring a unified and effective HR strategy across the business. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across the business units. Contribute to building a positive and inclusive workforce where colleagues thrive and feel valued by fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Your Skills and Experiences

Proven experience in a fast-paced HR Business Partnering role, ideally within a global organization and knowledge of logistics/freight forwarding. Ideally degree-level education or equivalent experience, along with a CIPD qualification. Demonstrable ability to align HR strategies in large matrixed organizations. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws. Extensive experience in employee relations and the ability to coach managers to effectively handle related issues. Exceptional communication, collaboration, stakeholder, and influencing skills at all levels. This is a national role requiring a driving license, as you’ll support stakeholders across the North of England, including Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Liverpool branches.
