Our client is looking for an HR Business Partner who will be able to develop and align our people with our business goals. This will include the day-to-day functioning of the HR department, taking a lead role on best practices for recruitment and retention of our staff. Main Duties:
Acting as a trusted adviser to line managers and employees on employment-related matters ensuring that all advice is in line with statutory obligations, policies, and best practice. Working alongside senior management to design and implement training and development strategy. Enhancing the performance management process including drivers for achievement across all business areas from sales to support functions. Working across the businesses in the UK and overseas to align HR practices. Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business. Accurately drafting employment documents, such as contracts and policies including pay award or change of terms letters, and actioning the resulting changes to terms and conditions on the online HR system. Managing the recruitment process from vacancy to offer and ensuring an effective induction. Using the online HR system to access, input, and compile data. Reviewing and updating job descriptions. Monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation. Implementation and coordination of the bonus scheme. Supporting and advising managers on various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary. The Candidate
CIPD qualified or have relevant experience to demonstrate level of competence. Personable with strong communication and relationship-building capabilities across all levels of the business. Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly. Business/commercial approach, understanding of business needs, and sound knowledge of employment law. Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Good IT skills with experience in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Office packages. Experience of using HR systems. A willingness to travel to different UK locations to support our businesses across the UK. The Terms
This role is being offered with part-time hours (between 15 and 20 per week depending on the selected candidate's requirements) with flexibility as to how and when those hours are worked. The position will be office-based in Waltham Cross. Salary: £45,000-£50,000 FTE, pro-rata to hours worked. Performance-based bonus scheme: up to 10% of salary per annum. Holiday: 20 days per annum plus statutory and other public holidays. For each completed year of service, an additional day’s holiday to a maximum of 25 days. This is pro-rated for part-time workers.
