- London Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy with more than 2,000 employees in 30 countries. Our sole focus is on unlocking better growth that drives measurable revenue and profit for our clients. We achieve this by optimizing every lever of their commercial strategy – product, price, innovation, marketing, and sales – based on deep insights into what customers want and value. With 40 years of experience in monetization topics of all kinds, we are regarded as the world’s leading pricing and growth specialist. We are now looking for an HR Business Partner to join our UK HR team, supporting UK-based Partners and managers as they grow and develop their teams.
How you will create impact: Within UK HR we work with Partners and managers to support the business as it grows and evolves in our local market, across a wide range of HR issues. There is the opportunity to build working relationships with a cross-section of our UK people managers at all levels through to Partner. We deal with reactive issues-based work, performance development and management, country-specific HR projects, and also support our Global HR Centres of Excellence colleagues on the country-based deployment of their work. As UK HR we develop our policies and approaches within global company frameworks while complying with local law. Our staff are exceptional people who push themselves to deliver great things for our clients – this means that our HR practice has to support and nurture this group effectively, delivering at their pace and sharing their positive outlook on what is possible. This role will work closely with the HR lead for the UK across different areas of HR delivery. We are a small team, which means there is a need to be flexible on the task mix day to day and week to week – as a group we get the job done and we support each other. Your profile: Chartered Member of CIPD. 3+ years’ experience of advising and supporting people managers across a range of issues, including senior level managers – which means you’ll be a great communicator. HR experience gained within professional services, or if not, a very clear narrative on why you want to move into this industry. Positive approach to working in a varied role where you need to work flexibly, pivoting to meet the needs of the business. Good knowledge of UK employment laws and their real-life and policy applications. Experience of successful project delivery within HR, either as a project team member or as a manager/lead. Good skills with MS Office/Teams, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work with HR systems, including thinking through practical workarounds where needed. Experience of supporting managers working with early career hires would be a positive. What we offer:
