Responsibilities
The Human Resources department is responsible for:
Developing the BU/SU and SG Group's attractiveness as a responsible employer, notably in terms of career opportunities, people development, compensation, diversity, and working environment.
Addressing the larger challenges of the BU/SU and SG Group notably in terms of managerial culture, performance management, and people engagement.
Contributing to the BU/SU and SG Group's competitiveness by maintaining critical staffing levels and talented profiles.
Providing HR support to specific populations of the Business, ensuring HR initiatives align with the business strategy.
Providing a full spectrum of advice and guidance in relation to the employee lifecycle.
Operational implementation of the global HR strategy and its rollout to the client group.
Liaising with senior management across functions to provide commercial and credible advice.
Building, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with the internal client base while providing HR advice to management and employees.
Ensuring HR topics are managed in compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Implementing and enforcing corporate initiatives and global HR policies.
Managing Employee Relations cases through to Tribunal when required.
Partnering with HR specialist teams and other relevant individuals outside HR to deliver best-in-class service.
Working on projects both locally and globally that add value to HR's corporate service offering.
Profile Required
Strong understanding and/or experience across all HR disciplines, knowledge of best HR practices, UK employment legislation, and regulatory changes.
Demonstrable experience in managing Employee Relations cases.
Knowledge of the banking industry and regulatory environment.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all organizational levels.
Ability to work autonomously within applicable policies and delegation rules.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience of HR in Financial Services with demanding client groups.
Experience working in an international matrix organization.
Ability to work under pressure and adaptability.
