Develop/support approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives. Work with the central teams to design and implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and wellbeing. In partnership with managers, take ownership of implementing the People Plan. Coach Managers and individuals. Maintain positive relationships with the central HR functions. Support the HR service team to manage employee relations issues when required. Take an active role in future talent processes such as graduate recruitment. Undertake and lead HR project work as identified. Work closely with the L&D team to provide support in the coordination of training & development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools. Work with the L&D team to ensure key deliverables are met, monitored, and reported. Meet regularly with the Head of People to ensure the consistency and alignment of all HR processes and strategies (globally and locally). Ability to build and maintain core business relationships with key stakeholders. Extensive senior Advisory/Partnering experience within a professional Human Resources function. High level of educational achievement. Extensive experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures. Knowledge of employment law principles. Excellent Microsoft skills; to include minimum intermediate level Excel and Word. Fully CIPD qualified, preferably Chartered. Desirable
Understanding and experience of manpower planning, resourcing, benchmarking, and metric delivery. Experience in an Engineering / Construction environment.
