As a HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR function and partnering with the leadership team to drive people initiatives aligned with the company's objectives. Reporting to the Director of HR, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to your assigned business functions, contributing to the development and implementation of HR programs and policies, and fostering a positive working culture and practices. In this role, you must have the courage to challenge effectively, ensuring employees uphold the Olympus core values and achieve business objectives. Partner with managers and leaders to understand their needs and develop HR strategies and solutions that support business objectives. Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Support the recruitment and selection process, conducting interviews and supporting the offer process. Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver training programs on various HR topics, including performance management, absence, conduct & capability and diversity and inclusion. Handle Employee Relations issues, including supporting and conducting investigations, addressing grievances, and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner. Support the performance management calibration process by providing coaching to managers and employees, facilitating performance reviews, and identifying development opportunities through talent and succession planning. Assist with HR reporting and analytics, including tracking key metrics and providing insights to inform decision-making. Actively remain updated of any changes in employment legislation and HR best practices to ensure compliance and recommend updates to policies and procedures as needed. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience and driving continuous improvement within the HR function. Qualifications
CIPD qualified. Possess generalist experience and working knowledge of current UK employment law. Able to build effective relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, demonstrating excellent influencing skills. Able to demonstrate Employee Relations casework experience. You have a commercial approach and willingness to challenge. Ability to face ambiguity and change with a positive and flexible outlook. Proven ability to apply judgement and decision making in new situations. You are willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours if required. Core Values
