Title:HR GeneralistOVERVIEWWe’re looking for a committed and experienced HR Generalist to join our team where you will provide advice and support across all people related activities for KBR’s circa 400 strong nuclear project team, working on the Sellafield Programme and Project Partnership (PPP). As the dedicated HR professional for the Cumbria office in Whitehaven, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations, whilst actively supporting with driving our HR programs forward helping make KBR a great place to work and creating conditions where people can flourish.You’ll also have the backing of our enthusiastic and experienced People team in Warrington and Surrey, making this a truly collaborative and diverse role.What you will doSupport the development and execution of the HR agenda and people strategies to build a strong Employee Value PropositionProvide day to day support on people issues raised by managers and employees, advising on company policy/procedureSupport line managers on the informal resolution of issues as well as advising and supporting formal disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance management issuesProvide guidance and training to improve manager capabilities Work with the HR team to spot areas for improvement within the project in order to drive positive change Support managers and capability leads with talent calibration and succession planningCreate new and better ways of working, drive improvements and initiativesUphold and maintain the brand, image and professionalism of the HR teamKeep up to date with legislative changes impacting the business and HR professionAny other duties as reasonably requestedWho are we looking for?Be passionate about HR! To fully immerse yourself in to this project, develop great relationships and ultimately excel in the role, we would like the successful candidate to be present in the office at least 2 days per week.As the HR team support multiple sites, there will also be a requirement for you to travel to client offices in Warrington on an ad-hoc basis.Like what you have read so far?
