Key Responsibilities: As the HR Lead, you will report to the Finance Director and work closely with the Board of Directors ensuring HR Strategies and initiatives align with the company’s overall business objectives. Your responsibilities will include: Recruitment & Onboarding :

Lead the charge

in identifying, attracting, and hiring talented individuals essential to our expanding business. Create compelling job advertisements and manage the recruitment process from start to finish. Conduct proactive LinkedIn searches to find top talent. Manage interviews and candidate assessments, ensuring a smooth selection process. Extend job offers and ensure compliance with right-to-work regulations. Develop and manage comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new starters feel welcomed, supported, and set up for success in their roles.

HR Administration & Compliance:

Create and maintain accurate electronic personnel files. Ensure all personal information held for employees is updated as required. Ensure that drivers of company vehicles and those under the opt-out policy provide compliant documentation as per company policy. Monitor and maintain the HR system and liaise with payroll on holidays and payroll matters. Support running payroll during holiday and sickness periods.

Employee Relations:

Promote fairness and equality across the organisation. Conduct and investigate disciplinaries and grievances following company procedures.

Data & Reporting:

Create and supply HR reports and statistics for monthly reviews.

Health & Safety:

Contribute to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Learning & Development:

Identify training needs and design programs to upskill employees. Support career development plans and succession planning for key roles.

Strategic HR Leadership:

Provide support to the senior management team. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Performance Management:

Oversee performance management processes to drive individual and organisational success.

General Responsibilities:

Undertake any other duties that may be associated with your role.

About You: We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who meets the following criteria: Qualifications:

CIPD minimum Level 5 preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years’ HR experience, ideally in the manufacturing industry. Proven management experience.

Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and enjoys working with technology. Ability to analyse data effectively to inform decisions. Strong time management skills with the ability to manage your own workload. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
