Hedon, United Kingdom | Posted on 12/18/2024 We are recruiting for an experienced HR Manager who will take on responsibility for delivering a comprehensive focused HR service to a multi-site manufacturing company. On offer is a salary of between £48,000 and £60,000 which is negotiable based on experience.

This is a stand-alone role and therefore the successful candidate must be an effective communicator, demonstrate experience of collaborating and engaging with teams remotely and in-person, showcase excellent written and verbal communication skills, be hands-on and possess a positive, supportive and proactive nature and be able to establish this new in-house function for the company.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management within a multi-site manufacturing company. This role is pivotal in overseeing HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for implementing effective HR strategies that align with their organisational goals. This will include:

Being the HR lead for the company providing guidance and support in daily operations.

Managing the complete employee life cycle from recruitment through to employment end including training, enhancing employee engagement, retention and development. Alongside this as required manage investigations and any disciplinary hearings.

Maintaining and managing the Human Resource Information Systems to ensure accurate employee data management.

Preparing HR documents including offer letters, job descriptions, handbooks and changes to terms and conditions of employment.

Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that comply with legal regulations and best practices.

Presenting HR metrics and reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.

Fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting a culture of inclusivity.

Collaborating with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.

Requirements

To be considered as the HR Manager you will need:

Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role within a fast-paced environment and working for a multi-site manufacturing company.

Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and compliance requirements.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience in working with wider company teams to drive performance improvement initiatives.

To be happy to travel to other company sites weekly.

If you have experience of working with an out-sourced HR function and/or of bringing an outsourced function in-house that would be advantageous.

A salary of up to £60,000
