An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a dynamic organisation, supporting the Head of HR and senior leadership in aligning HR strategies with business goals. This role is pivotal in enhancing employee engagement, driving cultural integration, and ensuring compliance with UK employment laws across multiple sites.

The HR Manager will oversee and develop HR operations, ensuring the consistent implementation of policies and fostering a high-performing, collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in unifying diverse teams and shaping a cohesive company culture.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head of HR to design and implement HR strategies that align with the organisation's objectives. Manage HR operations across various locations to ensure efficiency and standardization of practices. Provide expert guidance and support to local HR teams and managers on policies, best practices, and compliance. Conduct regular site visits to address location-specific HR challenges and drive collaboration across teams. Oversee employee relations, handling complex issues such as grievances and disciplinary actions with professionalism and fairness. Support performance management processes by assisting managers with goal setting, evaluations, and addressing performance issues. Contribute to the development of total reward strategies, including compensation structures and benefits packages tailored to diverse employee needs. Ensure compliance with UK employment law and conduct audits to identify and mitigate risks. Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, fostering a workplace culture of collaboration and innovation. Utilise HR data and analytics to monitor metrics, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.

The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) and have substantial HR management experience, ideally within the financial services or a related sector. A strong understanding of UK employment laws and HR best practices is essential.

They will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a demanding environment. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite is required, as is the discretion to handle sensitive information professionally.
