We’re looking for a HR Manager to exceed our clients’ expectations by implementing the HR structure, process, and procedures across our forever expanding site based in Thatcham.

This is a great opportunity for you to make a role your own and help to create a positive culture across the site whilst embedding the GXO Culture across the site.

This is predominantly a Monday – Friday role working office hours, however being a managerial role, we do ask for a level of flexibility.

The role is a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract.

Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays).

What you’ll do on a typical day as a HR Manager: Work closely with Site Manager and team to deliver & implement HR project plans Build and drive the site HR People plan to support an overall business plan, developing employee relations agenda Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relations issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated Ensuring that processes are in place for talent identification, succession planning and coaching for leaders and high-potential colleagues What you need to succeed at GXO: Previous HR experience within a fast paced environment Adaptable and able to work within a rapidly changing environment Excellent people management skills with the ability to build and maintain credible and strong professional relationships at all levels We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
