My client is a well-respected logistics company with their head office in Lancaster. They are looking for an experienced HR professional to support the HR Advisor and HR Administrator by representing the HR department as one of the main points of contact for all enquiries, and championing the company values in all their exploits. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to make an impact in an active HR department and further hone their skills working alongside a supportive team. Further details are as follows: General HR Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of the internal HR toolkit to provide excellent management training and analysis of training needs for all areas of the business Recording holiday entitlement and annual leave for staff, allocating cover to ensure business activities are not impeded Supporting the HR Advisor to assist in the analysis of employee behaviour and patterns by collating data and producing reports to help improve procedures and systems Assisting the Payroll staff to process any changes in employee records and monitoring monthly activity Maintaining the employee database alongside the HR Administrator and making variations to contracts as needed Working with the HR Advisor to create welfare packages, schedule and lead meetings on employee wellbeing Provide support to line managers during the recruitment process and identifying which employees would benefit from development processes Being a main point of contact for all HR enquiries and advising on company policy on a range of ER matters The Ideal Candidate: Should hold a CIPD Level 3 or be working towards Experience of working as an HR Officer or a HR generalist with a range of duties for at least 3 years Experience of the recruitment and onboarding process Strong knowledge of current UK employment law and practice Highly competent with IT systems, in particular MS A problem solver who is able to handle complex and confidential matters with a professional and tactful approach A warm and confident manner with great communication skills The Benefits You Will Receive: A salaried position with a negotiable salary based on experience Full time hours from Mon - Fri 8:30 - 5:30 Cycle to work scheme Discounted or free food On-site parking If you are interested in this role then get in touch with
