What the role involves
- Leading the school’s recruitment and selection processes, ensuring high-calibre candidates are appointed.
- Managing the Single Central Record (SCR) to ensure 100% statutory compliance for all safeguarding audits.
- Provide professional advice to the Senior Leadership Team on employee relations and policy implementation.
- Coordinating the staff appraisal and performance management cycles across the academic year.
- Overseeing the onboarding and induction of new staff to ensure a welcoming and professional integration.
Skills and requirements
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in an HR operational role, ideally within a school or complex public sector setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional manner.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
Confirmed role details
- This Full-Time, Permanent position (with Part-Time considered for the right candidate) starts in April 2026.
- £29,500 – £36,500.
