HR Officer focuses on leading the school’s recruitment and selection processes, ensuring high-calibre candidates are appointed.

What the role involves

  • Leading the school’s recruitment and selection processes, ensuring high-calibre candidates are appointed.
  • Managing the Single Central Record (SCR) to ensure 100% statutory compliance for all safeguarding audits.
  • Provide professional advice to the Senior Leadership Team on employee relations and policy implementation.
  • Coordinating the staff appraisal and performance management cycles across the academic year.
  • Overseeing the onboarding and induction of new staff to ensure a welcoming and professional integration.

Skills and requirements

  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in an HR operational role, ideally within a school or complex public sector setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional manner.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
