We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bath and North East Somerset to assist with the appointment of a HR Operations Officer, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for all HR Operations queries, providing customer-friendly advice and guidance to managers and staff across the Council. Coach Managers and employees through the advice and information given, helping them feel more confident to handle some matters independently in the future. Log incoming enquiries, categorising them accurately to provide performance data. Ensure that information given to customers is up to date. Highlight any need for further communications or updates on a subject. Liaise with HR Operations Specialist regarding the location and accessibility of information, particularly in regard to HR Operations activity and HR intranet information, making suggestions to improve ease of access. Minimum Requirements:

Educated to A level standard or equivalent with a commitment to gaining a formal Level 3 HR/Payroll qualification via an apprenticeship or other qualification route. Experience of providing administrative and technical support for a range of HR Operations functions including employee life cycle, recruitment, HR system maintenance and development, financial controls. Experience of advising and providing first resolution of queries on conditions of service, employee lifecycle matters, recruitment, and general employment enquiries, ensuring compliance and consistency across the organisation.
