- Nottingham - Fixed Term Contract - up to £37k pro rata + benefits

We’re on the hunt for an HR Lead, with experience in the recruitment sector, to join a high-performance, successful consultancy in Nottingham.

With an eye for operational compliance, REC and government regulations and audit processes, together with a love of building and developing company culture, developing and mentoring colleagues and creating incentives and initiatives, you will want to make an impact in this busy and fast-paced contract role.

Contract details:

This is a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) covering maternity leave until May 2026; with the potential to be extended.

Standard hours are 9am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with a degree of flexibility if required. 35 days annual leave (including B/H), reduced hours at Christmas, pension scheme, team events and commuter benefits are offered.

This is an office based role, unfortunately hybrid working is not available.

Key responsibilities as the HR and People Lead will include:

Fostering a positive company culture Devising and implementing initiatives, incentives and strategies Managing HR records Supporting ER and offering advice to employees and managers Overseeing hiring and onboarding processes Designing and delivering training programmes and updating training material Identifying employee training needs and monitoring and improving performance in sales targets and billings Conducting group workshops, 1:1s and performance appraisal processes Assisting with candidate compliance and background checks Ensuring all processes and procedures are adhered to including REC and government regulations

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role within sales operations, office management or HR Experience gained in a recruitment environment or strong understanding of REC and government legislation required CIPD Level 5 or 7 (or equivalent) is advantageous Experienced in dealing with ER issues and advising employees and managers Experience managing performance in a sales-driven environment is desired Excellent communication skills Highly organised nature Experience in delivering employee training is beneficial IT literate
