They are now looking for a HR Service Manager, to be based 3 days per week from their Swindon offices, with the additional 2 days per week homeworking. The HR Service Manager is a pivotal role within the wider HR Management Team. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this role will be instrumental in the development and delivery of vital employee services across the entire business. An autonomous role managing HR administration, policies, and processes throughout the full employee life cycle. This role will require a strong emphasis on both improving and optimising existing day-to-day operational foundations, within onboarding, HR policy, employee relations administration, HR reporting and systems. HR Service Manager – Responsibilities

Inspire, lead, and coach a small team of HR Co-ordinators Develop a framework of accountabilities/processes/roles and responsibilities for HR Services Set objectives and manage individual and team performance Manage the relationship with third party providers/vendors/contractors on delivery Establish and communicate service delivery standards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) Ensure HR policies, advice and procedures follow local employment laws and regulations Manage HR data and analytics. Prepare, deliver, and manage scheduled reports Oversee the monthly production of the HR Scorecard, providing meaningful, accurate HR data to stakeholders Build continuous improvement strategies that focus on delivering great customer outcomes and operational efficiencies Support the implementation of EDI initiatives & strategy within the HR Service Centre Manage all onboarding and HR administration processes and activities ensuring compliance Responsible for moving organisational culture and practices towards 'self-service' HR system data integrity, identify missing and inconsistent use of data fields Ensure the provisions of the Data Protection Act are always adhered to HR Service Manager – Required Skills

Proven track record of managing a HR Services environment Familiar with defining and implementing processes Strong analytical, numerical, and data analysis skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills Previous people management experience, with strong stakeholders capability Previous retail, FMCG, or Logistics experience is desirable, although not essential The HR Service Manager will be an experienced and ‘hands-on’ individual with a proven track record in defining and leading process improvements which positively and significantly impact the performance of both the people and the organisation. Collaborating directly with the HR Leadership Team to create a short, medium and long-term plan to support the delivery of the wider HR strategy, with clear ownership, timescales and measurable deliverables.
