21st Feb 25 About Us: The Electoral Commission is the independent body which oversees elections and regulates political finance in the UK. We are here to ensure the UK’s elections are well-run and the public have confidence in democratic processes. The Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support HR administration within a friendly, established team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring best-in-class processes and systems for our people while working closely with various teams and stakeholders. This varied role offers exposure to day-to-day HR activities as well as exciting projects and initiatives. Ideal for someone highly organised, proficient in Microsoft Office, and eager to gain broad HR experience. Key Responsibilities: Support recruitment and selection processes, including tracking applications and pre-employment checks Ensure a positive candidate experience while representing the business professionally Provide administrative support for learning and development, including scheduling training and preparing materials Manage HR information with confidentiality and accuracy Assist with various HR administrative tasks, such as onboarding, payroll, benefits, and leaver processes Collaborate with the HR team and deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders You: Experience of providing administrative support Good written and oral communication skills Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Good standard of education Numerate with analytical and statistical skills Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload through effective time management Working at the Electoral Commission: The Electoral Commission offers excellent terms and conditions.
