Job Type:Fixed TermBuild a brilliant future with Hiscox Reporting to the HR Systems Lead this role supports the team ensuring Hiscox uses Workday functionality effectively. The role will maintain Workday to support People Administration and Projects and to support in the system changes and updates as part of the People cycle as well as the Workday upgrades. It will also support in the business need to design new or modify existing configuration in conjunction with the HR Systems Lead and 3rd party vendors.Key Responsibilities:Working with the HR Systems Lead to manage Workday changeSupporting Workday release management cycles on a monthly and biannual basisWork upon improvements to process around Workday releases Support in presenting new Workday configuration both verbally and through written guidesConfiguration changes of current functionality globallyResponsibility for the annual cycle of HR processes where there are any Workday touch points. This will include working with the business to gather requirements, configure, test and deliver through yourself or othersTo support in the review of our current processes to ensure we remain efficientTesting of all configuration from Workday releases and new functionality prior to being live in productionProblem solving as and when required for 2nd level HR supportEnsure we remain GDPR compliant within Workday, reviewing the security permissions for access and as part of reporting Involvement in training for new members of the HR function and training on new functionality to the wider teamOther related activities as identified by the HR Systems LeadPerson Specification:You have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Workday configuration and change implementation.You have completed several Workday courses of which Core HCM is essential.You can demonstrate a good foundational knowledge of Workday configuration and reporting.Have previously used Workday Community to troubleshoot and self-learn to meet the business change requirements.Good communication skills, both verbal and written Self-organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail Problem-solving skills, with a curiosity and tenacity to resolve issuesKnowledge of Microsoft Office, intermediate / advanced Excel Interest in technology Personal drive and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider teamAdaptable, service minded and adept at problem-solving to support the team at different global locations Work with amazing people and be part of a unique culture
