One of my local Government clients is currently on the lookout for an HRA Accountant to join their team on an interim basis.

Responsibilities:
Supporting the council's HRA. Monthly rent journals. Journaling capital & revenue in the HRA. Completing Matrix balance sheet reconciliations. RTB returns.
Successful candidates will:
Have experience doing, if not all, some of the above listed tasks in a local authority setting. Have local authority experience or experience working for a Housing Association/Housing Trust on HRA Accounts. You do not necessarily need to be a fully qualified accountant for this position as they are also willing to consider candidates who are part qualified or qualified by experience.
