Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Asset Management Strategy for HRA housing stock, ensuring alignment with economic, environmental and service quality objectives.
Oversee a varied portfolio of around 8,000 homes, working closely with a range of colleagues.
Manage a £50M annual revenue and capital budget, ensuring financial efficiency and value for money.
Lead on programmed maintenance, reactive maintenance, and support our decarbonisation agenda to achieve net zero by 2040.
Ensure compliance with the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023 and other relevant legislation.
Engage with residents and stakeholders to ensure the strategy stays on track.
Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
About You:
Chartered Member of RICS or equivalent professional body.
Proven experience in asset management within social housing or local government.
Strong background in budget management and financial planning.
Knowledge of compliance and safety standards in housing.
Excellent data management and analytical skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage complex programmes of work and drive change.
Highly collaborative with demonstrable experience of working in partnership with contractors to optimise delivery.
