HSE Advisor - Large Data Centre Project, Newport

Our Client is a leading UK contractor with expertise in various sectors including aviation, energy, rail, and groundworks. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a dedicated HSE Advisor to join their team on a large data centre project in Newport, Wales.

This opportunity is perfect for a newly qualified HSE Advisor with 4-5 years of experience who is looking to expand their practical knowledge while working alongside a skilled and growing HSE team.

Key Responsibilities:

Work under the direction and supervision of an experienced HSE Manager. Represent the company with professionalism and pride. Actively participate in training and skill development. Support safe working practices and promote health and safety standards. Engage with colleagues, mentors, and management to foster a positive working environment. Contribute to health and safety planning, risk assessments, and system developments. Assist with Health & Safety inspections and on-site documentation. Develop HSE reports and engage with the workforce on safety matters. Lead safety campaigns and participate in safety expos and innovation initiatives. Support internal and external audits, and maintain continuous professional development.

Key Requirements:

A strong interest in health and safety, with a commitment to becoming a proficient HSE Advisor. Honest, trustworthy, flexible, and committed to high safety standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple projects. Willingness to work on-site, in person, at the Newport location.

Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience and skill set!
