P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an HSE Advisor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, based in Great Yarmouth. We are currently seeking an engaging and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team. As HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HSE requirements for the site in Great Yarmouth.
Responsibilities:
Conducting employee HSE inductions Managing the Behavioural Safety Observation System and improving workforce participation Documenting site tours/inspections with findings and follow up actions Weekly fire alarm testing and emergency exercise scenarios coordination Scheduling and chairing HSE Committee meetings, fire warden meetings and toolbox talks Lead accident and incident investigations including Root Cause Analysis and sharing of learnings Provide input to Site Health and Safety Internal Audits and compile and distribute HSE & Technical alerts Reporting and maintenance facets such as monthly HSE data/statistics collaboration and updating COSHH records of all chemical hazard risk assessments and safety data sheets Skills and Experience:
The ability to build influential relationships and communicate effectively with people at all levels will come naturally to you You must have a proactive approach to working with people and hold strong problem-solving skills NEBOSH General Certificate Accident / Incident Investigation COSHH Assessor Experience and understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (highly desirable) IOSH membership (Desirable) Manual Handling Assessor (Desirable) Internal Auditor (Desirable) Previous HSE experience in a similar industry (Desirable) If this is a role you are interested in, please apply online ensuring your CV is up to date.
