Following an internal promotion we have an opportunity for a safety professional to join us as our HSE Manager. What will you do?

Lead the ongoing development of the Health and Safety culture across our 4 factory sites by sharing your experience, providing your support and challenge to the management team to improve safety systems and performance. Some accountabilities of the role:

Working with the Operations Director, develop and maintain oversight of our Health and Safety Improvement Plan. Constructively challenge and support our leadership team so that Health and Safety matters are always part of their thinking and the conversation. Develop our Operations Managers to further improve their safety leadership capability as well as supporting them with the training of their teams. Working closely with our HR Manager, make sure the necessary occupational health surveillance regimes are in place and effective. Have oversight of Staircraft’s achievement of their environmental discharge permits, ensuring they are maintained as well as managing the business’ environmental management system. Line manage our HSE Advisor and continually support their development. Roll your sleeves up and support with risk assessments, audits, training and incident investigations. You will need to have:

NEBOSH NGC (minimum) Membership of IOSH Ideally an environmental qualification and hands-on experience 3+ years in a safety role in manufacturing What’s in it for you?
