Are you our next Health and Safety Manager? We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for our operation.

What is the role?

Driven and self-motivated, the HSE Manager is responsible for the implementation and delivery of safety management systems and technical competence across all airport activities to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in performance.

What will you do? Ensure clear information, instruction, and guidance by way of documented Process and Procedures are accessible to all Business Units. Ensure clear, information, coaching and support is provided to the Business Units in achieving effective safety management systems with a risk management approach. Ensure GAL's compliance with ISO 45001 and cross over to ISO 14001 is subject to continual improvement. Ensure GAL's HSE strategy and Second Decade of Change is actively driven in line with GAL's business agenda. Regular reporting of HSE metrics is delivered in line with GAL's business agenda

Do you have what we're looking for? NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent: Certified IOSH status or above. Lead Auditor training for ISO 45001. Extensive experience of HSE in a multi-function, customer orientated organisation. Proven track record in the delivery of HSE objectives associated typically with extensive experience. Strong leadership skills and experience. Proven stakeholder management experience.
