HSE Manager
HSE Manager focuses on oversee the hse management system in line with iso 45001 & iso 14001.
What the role involves
- Oversee the HSE Management System in line with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
- Leading internal/external audits and client assessments.
- Implement PTW systems and track key HSE KPIs (e.g., TRIR, LTIFR).
- Driving continuous improvement and behavioural safety initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with UK HSE legislation (including CDM, DSEAR, PSSR, COSHH, PUWER, LOLER).
- Provide expert guidance on all HSE matters across the business.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a HSE Manager or similar leadership role within a manufacturing, engineering, energy or industrial environment.
- Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related discipline.
- Proven experience across design, manufacturing, and site construction/commissioning.
- Experience with hydrogen hazards, ATEX/DSEAR compliance, and hazardous area design.
