2960997 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Crewe. This is an excellent role for a proactive and experienced HSE professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with company and legal requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards. Lead and coordinate HSE training and awareness initiatives for all staff. Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents, and provide recommendations for improvements. Work closely with management and teams to promote a strong HSE culture across all departments. Ensure that all records and reports related to health, safety, and environmental matters are kept up-to-date and comply with regulations. Travel occasionally to another site in the North East for audits and support as needed. The Ideal Candidate : Previous experience in a similar HSE management role within the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and industry best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels. A proactive and solution-focused approach to HSE management. Full UK driving licence, as occasional travel is required.
