Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will support and implement health and safety on a construction project in the Birmingham area. About the Role
- You should have between 1-5 years of experience within a construction/civils health and safety role and hold an NEBOSH certificate or similar. You should have a good understanding of relevant SHEQ legislation and industry standards. Responsibilities Assist in the development and ongoing review of the Health and Safety. Undertake site inspections and attend Site Review Meetings. Provide support with the identification and management of SHE risks, issues and opportunities. Create site-specific audit and inspection packs. Check that non-compliance reports from both internal and external audits are being adequately closed out with all corrective actions completed. Audit minor works carried out across sites as and when required. Proactive, engaging and positive attitude to the promotion of SHE excellence. Qualifications NEBOSH or equivalent CSCS Preferred Skills Highways/civils/general construction Pay range and compensation package Salary of up to GBP45,000, Car allowance, Pension, Health insurance, Full IT package
