The RoleResponsible for collating various forms of data, inputting and maintaining spreadsheets, coordinating employee reports, preparing related reports and KPIs and liaising with insurers to report and monitor the status of motor vehicle claims. Key RelationshipsExternally - Suppliers, customers, Internally - HSEQ Team, Branch Directors, Operations Managers, Fleet and HR.Candidate RequirementsBehaviours:

  • Good communication skills

Skills:

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate
  • Experience of Excel as the role will involve input and extracting data to form reports.
  • Previous experience of working within a health and safety role
  • Experience of ISO management systems would be an advantage.
  • Transport / Warehousing experience would be an advantage.
  • Working to deadlines
  • Accuracy/attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HSEQ guidance to all branches as required
  • Regular input and upkeep of various spreadsheets
  • Assist with the Management and review of the HSEQ Management system in line with ISO programs
  • Liaising with external support bodies as required
  • Identifying training needs to further support the business.
  • Monthly HSEQ communication, and where identified, create and issue additional communications, safety alert, safety message etc.
  • Provide HSEQ topics for branch daily briefings
  • As required, site visits and conducting Branch Visit Reports
  • Support the HSEQ Manager & Regional HSEQ manager with preparation for Regional/National Operations Meetings, RD meetings and annual branch audits
  • Supporting the wider HSEQ team with department projects.
  • Ensure you are familiar with health and safety rules and regulations, and that your responsibilities as an employee, in respect of health and safety, are carried out in full.
  • Any other duty reasonably requested by management.
