- home-based with travel to Andover, Birmingham, London & Bristol, some need for travel further afield across England. Strong salary plus choice of car or allowance, a bonus plus private healthcare. Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to develop our HSEQ resource embedded across our Client's operation within the UK. The customer is a multinational Technology Solutions provider with a mature UK estate of buildings, including a series of Data Centres and Corporate offices. As their Facilities provider, we are highly integrated with the client, providing technical and non-technical facilities services, with this role focusing on M&E plus CDM works across the client’s estate, offering effective HSEQ coverage at both a local site level and from a more strategic vantage point. You will ensure in-house staff and subcontractors are working safely to HV, LV, F Gas, and CDM standards while mentoring less technically minded H&S advisors within the team. This is a fantastic role for a technically minded HSEQ professional well versed in engineering and CDM to join a major employer, where you will be closely integrated with the end client, working across high tech facilities to ensure a safe engineering service. Actions will include: Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures. Working closely with the UK&I HSE Compliance to ensure all Data Centres and other sites in scope remain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliant. Design, produce, deliver, and implement strategic projects to assist the cultural compliance of HSE within the Company. Promote and encourage HSE awareness amongst managers and staff by providing communications, awareness training, and any other suitable means. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Prepare monthly and other reports - when needed - including the reporting of key HSE performance indicators as required by UK&I management. Maintain knowledge of new and amended legislation, corporate policies, and procedures which may impact business operations and advise UK&I management accordingly. Help identify, analyse, and resolve generic or significant HSE risks and issues arising from local site/project activities, and ensure appropriate risk management plans are implemented. Attend as required at local site/project HSE Management Committee meetings including the proposal of local HSE objectives. Ensure adequate HSE training is provided for local site/project managers, staff, and subcontractors, to meet both the minimum UK&I HSE-MS requirements and any site/project specific needs. We need from you: A Nebosh Diploma, or in process of obtaining this. A more engineering mindset with understanding of CDM regulations.
