UK & Ireland > London Heathrow HSEQ Manager The Opportunity Join our team as an HSEQ Manager, where you’ll drive excellence in health, safety, environment, and quality across our operations. By ensuring compliance with regulations, fostering a positive safety culture, and securing ISO certifications, you’ll play a key role in shaping our organisation's success and sustainability. Key Responsibilities HSEQ Strategy and Leadership Develop and implement HSEQ policies and strategies. Ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations, industry standards, and ISO certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Promote a culture of safety, environmental, and quality excellence. Management System Implementation and Maintenance Lead the implementation, maintenance, and auditing of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems. Update HSEQ manuals, procedures, and work instructions. Oversee certification processes and liaise with external auditors. Compliance and Risk Management Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures. Ensure adherence to UK regulations (e.g., Health and Safety at Work Act, Environmental Protection Act). Monitor regulatory changes and advise on required actions. Training and Development Develop and deliver HSEQ training for employees and contractors. Raise awareness of ISO standards and compliance requirements. Incident Management and Reporting Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions using Quentic (TCR H+S platform). Prepare and present HSEQ performance reports to senior management. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in HSEQ systems. Collaborate across teams to drive efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary contact for internal and external HSEQ matters. Build relationships with regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers. What We Are Looking For Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of HSEQ regulations. Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001). Ground Support Equipment or vehicle maintenance knowledge (desirable). Experience & Qualifications 5+ years of HSEQ management experience in aviation or vehicle workshop environments. Proven track record of implementing HSEQ programs in regulated industries. Certifications in HSEQ - NEBOSH/IOSH (essential). Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety (desirable). Behavioural Capabilities Attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management. Strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
