Job Summary: You will be responsible for ensuring that HSEQ is firmly embedded within the culture of the Company and its employees. You will be required to drive and improve employee engagement on all health, safety, environmental, and quality matters to all levels of employees within the business. You will also ensure the continuous improvement of the HSEQ management system meeting legal responsibilities, maintaining accreditations, and promoting best practice. Contract:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Promote a positive safety culture through engagement, leadership, and empowerment to ensure all our employees, customers, and contractors go home safe. Align with the Company CSR strategy and sustainable business journey. Work in partnership with employees, the local community, customers, contractors, suppliers, clients, and all stakeholders ensuring a positive impact on society. Maintain, develop, and audit AG’s integrated HSEQ Management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & BES6001) and deliver on HSEQ KPI’s to ensure a culture of continuous improvement is sustained. Contribute to a workplace culture that promotes and supports the physical and mental wellbeing of all employees. Monitor and advise on suitable control measures for HSEQ risks arising from our work activities; ensuring that all operations are managed in such a way as to prevent injuries, ill health, and minimize environmental impact. Proactively monitor HSEQ compliance across all sites, advise on and implement improvements where necessary. Support, implement, and improve the use of the EngagePro HSEQ technology across the company. Maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and risk assessments ensuring adequate control and compliance with relevant legislation/guidance. Ensure constant and meaningful HSEQ communications to ensure vital information is understood and followed by all employees, contractors, and visitors. Maintain AG’s contractor approval system and ensure stringent contractor control procedures are followed. Ensure suitable HSEQ instruction, information, and training to ensure competence of our employees and anyone working on our behalf. Ensure the provision and use of safe plant, equipment, and environments across all sites. Lead the investigation of all accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses. Provide advice on suitable improvement and corrective action/s. Work closely with insurers to ensure the impact of any potential claims arising from any incidents such as personal injury, public liability, or road accidents is managed. Maintain a constructive working relationship with regulators and stakeholders including HSENI, NIEA, and Local Councils. At least 3 years Health and Safety Management Experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience of environmental management systems (ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO 14001). Relevant experience in successful companywide improvements. Computer literate. Relevant business degree. Able to travel to and from work areas as required. Able to participate in a successful, committed, and highly motivated management team. Desired Criteria
