HSEQ Manager

to join our manufacturing team and manage the QHSE capability across

both Stockton and Rotherham. This role pays between

£60,000 - £70,000

This role is a "lead from the front" position within our organisation where you'll be a member of the senior management team, developing and implementing our QHSE strategy, while also remaining hands-on and leading/managing the QHSE team. Accountability A member of the senior management team within Manufacturing, working closely with the directors to develop and implement QHSE strategy Lead, develop, and manage the QHSE Team Lead and manage the Manufacturing Quality and HSE certifications and accreditations, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 3834/1090 Responsibility for statutory compliance and ensuring robust HSE training, working closely with the functional directors as appropriate Review client project requirements and ensure that these are met Document and implement QHSE policies to develop a robust QHSE framework Responsible for the QHSE performance and improvement of the division, both for site and off-site activities Responsible for regular reporting on leading and lagging KPI reporting and analysis Ensure that quality and testing and inspection plans are developed and implemented when required Promote a culture of personal accountability amongst all staff Develop a culture of employee involvement such that the employees are fully engaged with the QHSE goals and ambitions of the division and wider corporate teams Continuously lead the maintenance and development of an active and positive HSEQ culture, promoting positive participation by all members of staff, implementing and developing appropriate training Responsible for internal QHSE audit schedule to ensure facilities comply with accreditation and internal procedures Carry out regular monitoring of Manufacturing activities against QHSE controls and keep senior management informed of the results. Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazard reports making recommendations to prevent reoccurrence using root cause analysis Manage the reporting process to ensure all stakeholders are informed of any incidents and outcomes in a timely manner Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and ensure senior management are informed of any issues. Management and close out of nonconformances including root cause analysis as required Adhere to all Company policies and procedures including quality, safety, environmental, and HR Attend customer meetings as required to help secure contracts and maintain high-level client relationships, providing QHSE support as required Ensure intercompany cooperation and add value to the Glacier Energy Group Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to the Company business Requirements

Experience QHSE Auditing qualifications, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent along with significant previous experience in senior QHSE roles Proven experience across multiple industries, such as renewables, industrials, manufacturing, nuclear, and defence Excellent understanding of HSE legislation, management systems, and practices Excellent understanding of quality standards such as ISO 17020, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 Attributes Confident to engage with all levels of the business Logical and analytical approach Efficient, with good attention to detail Willingness to learn from others and share best practices Thorough, tenacious, and results-oriented IT literate with good experience in Microsoft packages
