About Us We are a leading NASC Scaffolding Contractor operating across the West Midlands, committed to delivering high-quality projects while maintaining the highest safety standards. We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSEQ Manager to lead our safety and compliance initiatives, ensuring our operations meet the highest industry standards. Job Summary As the HSEQ Manager, you will oversee all aspects of health, safety, environmental management, and quality control within the organisation. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, develop and implement policies, and foster a culture of safety and excellence across our sites. Key Responsibilities Safety Compliance: Ensure all scaffolding activities comply with UK health and safety regulations, including HSE guidelines. Risk Assessment: Conduct detailed risk assessments for scaffolding works and implement appropriate safety measures. Inspections: Perform regular on-site inspections to ensure scaffolding is erected, maintained, and dismantled safely and in line with industry standards. Training: Provide safety training and toolbox talks for site teams, scaffolders, and contractors. Incident Management: Investigate any scaffolding-related incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety audits, risk assessments, and incident reports. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and external contractors to promote a strong safety culture. Qualifications & Skills NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent safety qualification. CISRS Advanced Scaffolder. In-depth knowledge of scaffolding regulations, HSE standards, and best practices. Proven experience in scaffolding safety management within the construction industry. Strong communication and leadership skills. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Additional qualifications in health and safety, such as NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. First Aid certification. Experience with digital safety management systems.
