Summary

One of the UK's leading suppliers of high calibre and experienced personnel to the infrastructure sector in looking to hire an experienced HSQE Manager to join their Doncaster office.

Responsibilities Promote Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) and Operational Safety leadership for all teams and lead the HSQE advice and data team, providing timely and accurate data across the business. Comply with and promote Company procedures to provide appropriate resources, communication strategies, training, and competency and evaluate fitness of staff to safely deliver their accountabilities. Develop an understanding of safety and environmental risks along with controls necessary to reduce risks to levels that comply with legal requirements and corporate processes and systems. Identify and implement any quality and efficiency improvement initiatives. Prepare and ensure compliance with policies and strategies across the function and audit compliance with legal and statutory regulations. Be an active member of the HSQE team and assist the team to maintain full engagement in meeting business objectives. Head and carry out investigations as required. Assist in the implementation of the Behavioural Safety and Safety Culture Change Programme. Liaise with the client representative, providing information as required. Liaise with the supply chain, ensuring effective dialogue on HSQE matters. Experience Experience in HSQE and operational safety issues on major programmes of work in the construction and/or rail industries NEBOSH Certificate IEMA Certificate desirable Detailed knowledge of safety and operational issues Good understanding of the UK and European legislative framework and requirements Valid PTS and Min 5 Years Rail Experience with a good understanding of railway process and procedures including railway standards Computer literacy Willingness to travel and to learn and open minded for new technologies For further information and to apply get in touch.
