high hazard industries

and evolving services in line with client needs. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (as a minimum) in Psychology, Human Factors or Ergonomics, have experience in managing both large and complex projects. We are ideally seeking people with experience from the energy sector, including the oil & gas industry. You will be Chartered/Registered with the

Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (IEHF)

and used to working in the UK regulatory environment. The role requires someone to be familiar with

Human Factor Integration (HFI), SCTA, Workload and Fatigue, Control Room and HMI Assessments . Main Responsibilities: Design and deliver a range of human factors and safety service lines covering human error/reliability, safety culture and human factors in design. These would include both desk-based work and engagement programmes onsite with all levels of the client’s organisation. Provide technical/subject matter leadership and review, to ensure that the quality of project deliverables represent ERM standards and are in line with client needs. Be heavily involved in business development, to foster relationships with existing and new clients and build on our existing services lines. Be involved in the day-to-day management of projects and mentoring of junior team members. Have experience in projects using analytics tools and an understanding of experimental design principles and statistics would be highly desirable.
