Ensuring managers are proficient in applying HR policies and procedures. Advising and supporting managers on HR policies and processes. Managing an HR caseload within agreed service levels. Directing staff to relevant HR policies and clarifying their responsibilities. Collaborating with the recruitment team on current and future resourcing needs. Supporting managers in managing absence and attrition, including utilizing occupational health support. Supporting the implementation of the performance review process. Maintaining HR information systems and generating reports. Proactively achieving HR team KPIs. Working remotely with managers and HR colleagues. Responding to departmental queries and ensuring appropriate HR administrative processes are followed. Supporting initiatives to improve staff engagement and retention. Person Specification:
CIPD Level 5 qualified/part qualified or equivalent experience. Proven experience in a fast-paced HR role. Experience advising on short-term absence management. Experience/knowledge of employee relations case management (e.g., absence, conduct, grievance, capability). Understanding of current employment law and employee rights. Experience developing and implementing wellbeing initiatives. Experience maintaining HR information systems and reporting. Ability to work independently. Ability to influence managers at all levels.
