As a Human Resources Advisor, you will support the People & Culture Team in delivering a comprehensive, consistent and professional service to our customers in line with our CARE values and behavioural framework. You will provide proactive, professional, and consistent employee relations advice and guidance. A key focus will be on maintaining accurate and consistent data, communication, and escalation where required. You will also provide expert advice and guidance for key employee relations projects such as, but not limited to; TUPE, Management of Change (MOC), and internal and external audits. Job Responsibilities

Building and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues, peers and all our customers; internal and external, with the confidence and ability to challenge professionally, when required. Providing advice and guidance to our managers and our employees with regards to all employee relations matters, in line with DHU policies and procedures, best practice and values; looking for support from the People & Culture or other DHU teams when the need arises. Supporting the effective and efficient delivery of People & Culture projects with a flexible approach, when the need arises. Supporting with internal and external audit preparation, attendance, and actions. Providing consistent and professional correspondence that is in line with our CARE values, behavioural framework, policies & procedures, best practice & UK legislation. Supporting and actively promoting the development of our line managers, increasing their people and management knowledge and abilities in line with our CARE values, policy & procedure, and best practice. Proactively reviewing People & Culture procedures and forms in line with our CARE values, behavioural framework, best practice, UK employment legislation and our organisational needs. Maintaining employee files in line with legislation (GDPR), best practice, CQC and local compliance requirements to ensure end-to-end comprehensive record keeping of all employee relations matters is adhered to. Maintenance of our HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate capture and analysis of data. High attention to detail and accuracy at the forefront to ensure Right first Time in all that we do. Supporting the collation and sharing of necessary data for our external legal/Insurance teams when required. Ensuring compliance in engaging with external legal support where deemed necessary or appropriate. Role model behaviours and values across all activities, correspondence, interactions and communications. Enable, foster and promote a culture across the team and organisation of safety, respect and accountability through actively advocating and role modelling being an active bystander. Supporting with any other People & Culture activities when the need arises. Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

A good general standard of education, professional degree level. A relevant professional HR qualification (CIPD level 5, or at least level 3, but already working towards level 5). Strong ER generalist experience (Ideally a minimum of 2 years). Experience of reviewing & creating policies and procedures. Previous HR experience within the healthcare sector is desirable. Experience in managing conflicting priorities and workloads to ensure timely and efficient responses. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Confidence and ability to challenge in a professional manner. Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations. Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change. Positive, proactive and adaptable approach. Right to work in the UK.
