About the job Our client is a reputable established global law firm considered to be one of the leading firms across disciplines. They are now seeking a positive HR Assistant to join their growing team in their London offices on a permanent basis. The main responsibilities for the HR Assistant will be to work closely with the HR Manager and provide day-to-day administration of the Human Resources function, ensuring key HR processes run as seamlessly as possible. Duties will include: Assisting and supporting the Human Resources team with offer letters and contracts and organising all employee onboarding. Recruitment coordination across the process. Ownership of the weekly employee movements sheet reporting and chairing the weekly meetings with the HR team. Database administration for employee records. Assisting with all absence monitoring and administration, running weekly sickness reports and flagging any key absence trends. Continually reviewing HR processes and procedures, suggesting any efficiencies or improvements. Supporting the diary management for the Director of Human Resources and others within the team as required. The HR Assistant will ideally have previous experience providing administrative HR support to a fast-paced HR team. It is essential to have the ability to prioritise competing demands and work within deadlines. The right candidate will maintain confidentiality of information while also possessing strong communication skills dealing with individuals at all levels, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
