As a Human Resources Business Partner with Bellrock, you’ll do it by… Providing competent advice, guidance, and support to managers within the business division on general HR and employee relations matters, compliance with legal obligations, and adherence to contractual obligations - obtaining advice from professional colleagues as required. Providing Business Partner leadership for HR matters for the division that they are supporting, attending monthly Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings as required. Maintaining a close working relationship with the HR Business Partner Team, ensuring that any overlap of issues are communicated and managed effectively. Supporting investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries. Supporting the development and maintenance of the Bellrock HR Policy, supporting policies and procedures, and ensuring they meet relevant employment legislation. Assisting and providing guidance for the business function with regard to organisational restructures, redundancies, settlement agreements, mediation, conflict management, maternity, paternity, parental leave, etc. Assisting and supporting with long/short term sickness issues, requesting medical reports and occupational health referrals, supporting line managers with any absence management issues. Providing general HR reports on a monthly basis and as required by the business function e.g. collating information for monthly reports to Management Board and divisional SLTs, including headcount and absence. Carrying out any strategic consultation processes with regard to TUPE, working closely with the incoming/outgoing mobilisation/demobilisation teams, aligned with ACAS guidelines. Managing the approval process for the Recruitment Vacancy Tracker on an ongoing basis. Working with line managers to organise and oversee new starter inductions. Working with function MD’s and line managers to agree and collate the annual salary review in line with the business guidance. Delivering HR projects as required with the assistance of the HR Business Partners. Supporting, promoting, and adhering to the PDR process offering guidance on any capability or poor performance issues identified. Committing to demonstrating the six behavioural business attributes in line with the Company objectives as detailed in the Bellrock People Attributes Framework. Undertaking any other reasonable duty as requested by the Head of Human Resources from time to time. What does it take? If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Human Resources Business Partner, you’ll need… A recognised HR qualification, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working in a generalist HR role. Membership of CIPD (Assoc essential, Chartered desirable or working towards). Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally. Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills. Strong coaching/mentoring skills. Effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to personal, team, and organisational deadlines. Change management skills. Numeracy and ability to accurately analyse and present quantitative and qualitative data. Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and results-focus. Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity. Negotiating with and influencing senior colleagues. Pragmatic and solution-oriented. Committed to high standards and continuous improvement. Ability to move between big picture and detail. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the Meadowhall, Sheffield office and work two days a week with the team, while the rest of the week can be worked from home.
