We are currently working in partnership with a
Higher Educational body based in North London , who are recruiting for a
HR Business Partner on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable based upon experience. The ideal candidate will have strong change management and higher education role analysis experience. Duties will include (but are not limited to): In relation to the Target Operating Model project, gain a comprehensive understanding of the new Shared Services model and its environment to effectively provide business partnering advice and support throughout this change programme Implementing effective change management strategies to guide the organisation through the transition. This includes planning, monitoring, and adjusting strategies as needed Liaising heavily with trade unions and their queries in relation to this change programme, and be able to manage difficult meetings and conversations involving unions and members of staff Providing advice, guidance and support to Heads of Departments with organisational change programmes to ensure the delivery of project outcomes, including job evaluation, consultation, implementation. Working with the HRBP team, ensuring that all consultation documents are accurate and legally compliant (higher education role analysis experience is needed) Working with the Reward Manager to advise client areas in relation to the application of the organisations reward strategies and mechanisms, ensuring consistency, fairness and transparency Undertaking activities, projects, working groups and development opportunities as identified and requested by the Senior HRBP/HR leadership team to ensure delivery of the HR strategy Experience required: Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, in particular providing support for transformational change programmes Experience as a successful HR Business Partner in a unionised and regulated environment Proven track record of providing high-quality HR service with the ability to inform and influence Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Good knowledge of job evaluation methodologies Proven clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and progress a high volume of routine matters independently and approach novel problems in a proactive and solutions-based manner Effective team player and able to build effective team relations as both a member of the HR directorate and with client areas Tactful and diplomatic in dealing with sensitive matters, respecting confidentiality at all times Working knowledge of job evaluation systems such as HAY or HERA Working hours: 35 hours per week 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
