Our client, based in West Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The position is due to start before the new year on a full-time basis. The salary for this role is between £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, with the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.


The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years’ experience within HR, be capable of liaising with stakeholders and support with a wide range of HR matters.


Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team to support the business strategy from a people perspective, including recruitment of new talent, retention of key people and reward strategies
  • Using HR information systems to gather people data and insights on key people metrics such as absence, staff turnover, cost per hire etc
  • Providing a proactive HR service, including employee relations, resourcing, people development, performance management & reward, as well as involvement in workforce planning and resource management
  • Ensuring compliance with employment law requirements by keeping apprised on existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising manager on actions as appropriate
  • Working with the Director of Employee Experience to create and maintain a company culture and people approach which support the business strategy
  • Contributing to the implementation of the people strategies and plans, including employee engagement initiatives
  • Managing an Employee Relations caseload, including performance management and absence management
  • Creating and updating people policies and procedures
  • Managing internal Employee Experience communications


Expertise required:

  • 5 years experience in Human Resources
  • Experience of handling complex employee relations cases
  • The ability to liaise with stakeholders and influence
  • Conduct employee engagement initiatives
