We are now looking for an HR Generalist to work out of our regional office in Plymouth, MI, with regular visits to our Saginaw, MI, office. This position will report to the VP of Human Resources with a dotted line to the Area Operations Manager. This is an onsite/in office position, not remote or hybrid, due to the nature of the role and responsibilities. What We Will Do for YOU! You will provide support for human resources and recruitment, and perform a variety HR administrative processes and initiatives. You will: Handle all offboarding and termination activities Oversee benefits open enrollment Administer leave, including FMLA, STD, LTD and PLOA Assist with new employee pre-employment onboarding tasks Help with departmental monthly initiatives to help drive employee engagement Answer high level, confidential employee questions Help answer interrogatories from DOL, EEOC and OSHA Help plan and facilitate annual employee events Other duties as assigned Ready to start your adventure with us?

Apply now if you: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related, preferred HR certification preferred Have a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience, required Have a valid driver's license Are willing and able to travel to our Saginaw, MI, office regularly and/or as needed (may include overnights) Have excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers Have excellent attention to detail with strong follow-up skills Have excellent knowledge of the HR core functions following the employee life cycle from start date up through termination date required Have excellent organizational and time management skills Have strong oral and written communication skills Have strong ability to receive and process information in a professional, sensitive, confidential, and timely manner Have strong computer skills including accurate data entry, MS Office (particularly Excel and spreadsheets), ADP Workforce Now, and other HR/ATS applications Are able and willing to work overtime or weekends as necessary We look forward to talking with YOU!
