Twr y Felin Hotel, Roch Castle, Penrhiw Priory and Blas Restaurant are looking for a positive, approachable and capable HR Manager to be responsible for managing Human Resources for the group, continuing to create and support an engaging working environment, and to deliver and source relevant training. Ability to commute/relocate: St Davids, Pembrokeshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (essential) Desired Experience: HR: 2 years (preferred) HR qualification (or the motivation to commit to training) Coordinate job advertisements, application forms, interviews, contracts and recruitment paperwork for all departments. Assist Heads of Department to compile training plans for all positions in the group and ensure that they have been implemented and signed off by all HODs. Maintain the delivery of Retreats Group standards through assisting HODs to develop and update effective (SOPs). Liaise with HODs to ensure that Induction and Training plans are up to date and training needs are identified and resolved. Coordinate Performance Reviews, ensuring that all HODs are conducting them effectively and in a time-bound manner. Keep abreast of UK employment law legislation. Coordinate disciplinary procedures with relevant HODs. Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, tactics and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, and procedures across the organisation. Nurture a positive working environment. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Being available to answer questions and provide guidance to the team. Ensure data is collected and maintained for attendance records for payroll and any disciplinary requirements. Updating and maintaining employee records. Verifying information from new and potential employees. Continue improved knowledge through trainings and workshops. Keep confidential personal information about employees. Support our colleagues in all other departments with their operational duties when required. Candidate Expectations: Exceptional organisational skills Proven track record in a business environment Strong and personable communication skills including face to face, telephone and written. Ability to build relationships at all levels Time Management and Priorities Management Skills IT skills including Microsoft Office knowledge with emphasis on excel. Flexible attitude to working patterns over 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
