Job Description: We are seeking an experienced HV Commissioning Engineer to join our team for a 4-month project in Shotton, Flintshire. The successful candidate will play a critical role in commissioning and testing high-voltage (HV) systems to ensure they meet project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Commissioning and testing of HV equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems. Ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards during all phases of the commissioning process. Collaborating with project teams, clients, and third-party contractors to achieve project milestones. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently. Documenting test results, maintaining records, and preparing commissioning reports. Supporting handover processes to the operations team. Requirements: Proven experience in HV commissioning roles. In-depth knowledge of HV systems, protection, and control schemes. Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., HV Switching, Electrical Engineering degree).
